Accounts and Administration Assistant
Fexco Asset Finance (FAF) are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Administration Assistant to join the team on a full-time, permanent contract. This role is based on-site in Killorglin, Co. Kerry.
Fexco Asset Finance Limited has two streams of business. It provides and arranges leasing and hire purchase facilities for capital goods to consumer and business customers in Ireland, thereby giving them access to the finance necessary to grow. It also provides loan administration services to Third Party clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage customer database and ensure adherence to SLA’s with external clients.
- Conduct data analysis, review and interrogate customer data, and produce reports to ensure database accuracy.
- Understand the various loan products, calculation and capitalisation of loan interest, and application of Euribor.
- Prepare online bank payments, post customer drawdowns and receipts to customer accounts on KBS.
- Onboard new customers, set up and review account details for accuracy.
- Calculate and process customer settlements or restructures as needed.
- Assist Finance and Compliance teams with queries which arise during audits (internal and external).
- Prepare month-end bank reconciliations and trial balance for external clients.
- Provide exemplary customer service and conduct follow-up calls/emails promptly.
- Lead new client product requirements and required system enhancements.
- Assist Operations Manager with deployments of new releases to system and testing of same.
- Provide administrative support to the business for ad hoc projects.
Experience Required
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and handling large data volumes.
- Previous experience in accounts/finance roles is advantageous.
- A flair for systems/reports would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a good team player.
- Proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work independently.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
